ColdFusion Job Opportunity in Washington, DC (MicroTech)

We are currently seeking a Senior ColdFusion Web Applications Developer to join our team at the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will support The Office of The Assistant Secretary of Defense, Public Affairs, Information Resource Management department (OASD-PA IRM) as well as the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and/or lead effort to create requirements and specifications for complex or highly technical Web applications.
Perform and/or lead effort to create application design for complex Web projects which may require extensive research and analysis.
Assist in estimating programming resource requirements, project planning and scheduling.
Code and test Web applications using standard toolsets, reusable object oriented methodology, and robust edit and error checking processes.
Design and develop projects with professional level standards for site performance, usability, scalability, browser compatibility and reliability.
Review designs and maintains compliance with application and infrastructure architecture and security.
Provide guidance for more junior developers in technical skill sets, design, and coding best practices.
Oversee and assist with Web Application Development.

Experience Required:

JSP/Java/Cold Fusion development and systems analysis
Web design especially in site usability
JavaScript, HTML, XML, and SQL
UNIX file system: navigation, naming conventions, ownership, and permissions.
Macromedia tools*Adobe Photoshop Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash or other integrated development environment.
Web server configuration and operating functions, including Apache and IIS web servers.
Oracle and or SQL databases, table creations, and data dictionary.
