ColdFusion Job Opportunity in Washington, DC
Duties/responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will provide ColdFusion web development software engineering for a large scale project. The engineer translates customer requirements into design and code for each module.Â
- This position will work closely with the project lead and other developers as well as externals.Â
- Candidate will code to standard as defined by the project, thoroughly test, and document own code.
- The Software Engineer will be responsible for delivering ColdFusion web development services for the presentation layer of a 3-tiered web application.
MINIMUM
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
REQUIRED
- The selected candidate will have ColdFusion software development experience including .Net development experience in C#, ASP.NET and Web Services using .NET 3.0/3.5 frameworks (including Windows Communication Foundation).
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the development of SOA strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience in developing enterprise level database using Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise 2005 or higher, including developing DTS Packages, Store Procedures, Views, and Triggers.
- The Engineer must have solid Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
DESIRED...
- Preferred experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
- The Engineer should have solid understanding of T-SQL and MS SQL.
