Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- 5+ years ColdFusion web development (with experience deploying a ColdFusion powered intranet application)
- Experience with the following technologies and languages: (ColdFusion, Flex, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL)
- Understanding of database modeling
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop dynamic web content using client server technologies and/or third party software (Clarity, Siebel)
- Apply logic and code standardization to web development activities
- Continuously assess the application and identify solutions on how to increase operating efficiency and/or adapt to new requirements
- Provide internal support for application issues and ad hoc queries from users
- Create new databases and associations based on project requirements
- Deploy application into the production environment in accordance with requirements, with guidance
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and requirements
Skills
- Highly organized individual with ability to manage diverse functions, requests, and deliverables
- Self starter, comfortable with learning new technologies and processes independently
- Technically literate in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft SharePoint a plus but not required)
- Ability to work and learn independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Fluent in English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Able to meet deadlines and resolve issues/tasks in an efficient and timely manner
