Position Title: Software Developer - Web-based applications - ColdFusion
Job Description:
- Responsible for designing, enhancing high availability web-based applications
- Develop corporate and end-user/customized web portals, dashboards, etc.
- Develop views, stored procedures
- Full life cycle solution design, code development, documentation, and unit testing
- Database design, data reporting, and query optimization
Experience Profile:
- Proficient skills developing with ColdFusion
- Experience with object-oriented ColdFusion development
- Experience using one or more of the ColdFusion Frameworks (e.g. Mach-II, Model Glue, Fusebox, etc)
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL development
- Experience with Subversion, or other version-control products (tortoise SVN currently utilized)
- Experience with Unit Testing, or other quality assurance approaches (mxunit currently utilized)
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL for programming stored procedures and triggers
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Familiarity with web services and JavaScript APIs (e.g. Google maps)
Helpful Skills:
- JQuery, JQuery UI, OO frameworks, etc.
- Advanced experience with XML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX. Experience with jQuery
- Familiarity with other object-oriented programming languages such as Java or ASP.Net are a plus
