Description
The successful candidate will be an experienced ColdFusion programmer skilled in new application development and in supporting existing ColdFusion applications. Further, the successful candidate will have experience using ColdFusion development frameworks such as Fusebox and Model-Glue and utility frameworks such as Transfer and ColdSpring. The selected candidate will work directly with clients gaining an understanding of their needs, translating those needs into functional requirements, documenting said requirements, and building ColdFusion applications that meet the identified needs.
Requirements
Qualified candidates with a Baccalaureate or equivalent preferred. Four years of work experience designing, building, and administering strategic or high volume ColdFusion web applications for diverse audiences required. Must be an experienced user of standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), have experience in using AJAX and at least one JavaScript framework such as jQuery or Ext JS, and be highly knowledgeable about current web design trends and techniques. Must have solid experience in designing database tables and efficient SQL queries: experience with writing queries against Oracle tables is preferred. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with both technical staff and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with Business Intelligence applications or designing statistical reports is preferred. Qualified candidates should also be self-motivated, capable of working independently and/or as a technical lead as needed.
